Terms of Business

Scope, fees, independence and the small print — in plain English.

The short version of how we work: scope and fees agreed in writing before anything begins, advice given independently, and your data handled as described in our privacy notice.

Engagement

Services are defined in a written proposal — scope, timetable and fee — which becomes binding when you confirm it. Fixed fees cover the defined scope; anything beyond it is quoted before work continues. Fees are invoiced on completion or, for programmes longer than sixty days, in agreed instalments.

Independence

We accept no commissions, referral fees or inducements from landlords, agents, schools or any third party in connection with advice given to you. Where we introduce regulated specialists — immigration solicitors, tax advisers, surveyors — their terms govern their work and we accept no liability for it.

Liability

Our advice is provided with professional care but does not constitute legal, tax or immigration advice. Property particulars shown on this site are believed correct at publication, do not constitute an offer, and availability changes daily. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law; otherwise our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service concerned.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
